Thermos Foogo Review and Giveaway
Although I'm not completely on the eliminate-all-plastics-from-my-life bandwagon, I definitely see the value in not only limiting the amount of disposable items (plastic wrap, sandwich bags, etc.) in kiddo's lunch bag, but also limiting the amount of plastic that comes into contact with his food. Those are two of the reasons I'm crushing pretty hard on these Thermos Foogo products.
The Thermos Foogo Stainless Steel Jar
and the Thermos Foogo Stainless Steal Sippy Cup
are 100% BPA free, impact resistant and dishwasher-safe. Plus, they're pretty darn cute.
The Thermos Foogo Stainless Steel Jar
My 13-month-old son had no problem with the Thermos Foogo Phase 1 Sippy Cup
's easy-to-use handles and he loved to chew on the soft spout. (There's mega-teething going on at my house.) And as an added bonus, the Foogo drinkware uses interchangeable parts that fit all phases of the cups.
Like every other mama I find myself constantly packing little snacks of cereal, fruit, bread, etc. and the Thermos Foogo Stainless Steel Jar
helped me do that without the sandwich bags! I can also pack yogurt in his mother's day out lunch bag and know it will stay cool.
I'm giving away a prize pack of one Thermos Foogo Phase 1 Sippy Cup and one Thermos Foogo Stainless Steal Jar (both pictured above). Giveaway will end at 11:59 p.m. CST on Saturday, March 5, 2011. Winner will be selected using a random number generator and announced on Sunday, March 6, 2011. US only.

Organic Candy Giveaway!
In honor of Valentine's Day I'm giving away some yummy, natural, organic candy from Indie Candy! I would say you should try to win these goodies for your kids, but you'll totally want to try them too!
Indie Candy was recently a sponsor of the 2011 FoodBlogSouth Conference in Birmingham, Alabama. That means they value and support the blogging community. We love them for that!
The awesome thing about Indie Candy's treats is that they use fruit, vegetable and spice extracts instead of artificial dyes and flavors. That means the orange actually tastes like an orange -- not that super-sweet, fake taste of many other "fruit" candies. All their confections are free of the eight major allergens including peanuts, tree nuts, soy, wheat and dairy. Indie Candy also sells corn-free, vegan and kosher candy option. In short, they make tasty treats that make you feel a little less guilty for the indulging. You can find Indie Candy's goodies at Whole Foods and other specialty retailers.
I am giving away 2 packages of wild cherry gummy hearts, 2 packages of pineapple gummy hearts, 1 orange rhino lollipop and 1 key lime lion lollipop in one prize pack.
Giveaway will end at midnight CST on Saturday, February 5, 2011. Winner will be selected using a random number generator and announced on Sunday, February 6, 2011.
